It’s not that crazy for Birmingham to get snow, but I don’t remember it ever coming along totally unexpected. And our boy really likes the taste of snow, it turns out. I got the chance to practice a recipe I remember from reading one of the Little House on the Prairie books about thirty or so years ago. Fresh snow with maple syrup. Not bad.
